
Hostetter Construction’s management program functions as
an extension of the owner’s team. Engaged throughout the
construction process until post-occupancy completion, we
deliver the client’s vision of the project, ensuring work of
quality and value that is completed safely and on time.
We prepare cost estimates at several phases during the
process, while also advising on alternative design approaches
and building systems. Hostetter works with the owner and
architect to provide detailed schedules of construction and
move-in/occupancy phases. We continually monitor the
project schedule, looking ahead for potential roadblocks, and
developing solutions before problems or delays arise.
Hostetter also packages work so that there are no conflicts
between trade contracts. We advise on the list of acceptable
bidders, market the project to the local construction trades,
receive and evaluate bids, and recommend contract awards
to the owner.
Project staff can be tailored to our clients’ needs to include
a superintendent and/or project manager to be the owner’s
primary liaison. In effect, Hostetter Construction acts as the
client’s agent, advising the owner and architect on contractor
pay schedules and change orders, from checking on construction
quality to arranging demonstration sessions for the owner’s
operating and maintenance personnel.
